CourtneyCourtney first began piano 15 years ago at the age of three and over the years has also developed skills in trumpet and cornet. She has completed her Grade 8 AMEB for both piano and trumpet and is soon to complete her Grade 6 AMEB in music theory. Courtney is currently working towards undertaking her A.mus.A or L.mus.A whilst studying a Bachelor of Music, majoring in Classical Piano at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

She has been a part of many programmes including the Young Conservatorium Orchestra 2010, North Coast Region Instrumental Excellence Programme 2013 and 2015 (as lead trumpet), State Honours Ensemble Programme 2012 and 2013, and lead trumpet in both Musically Outstanding Students 2015 (MOST), and Creative Generations 2015 (CGEN). Courtney has travelled to the Conservatoire Cantonal De Musique, Switzerland, and is also principal cornet of Brisbane Brass 2 and plays in the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra.

Courtney's enthusiasm and encouragement is very important for her students' successes. She is also a kind and caring teacher who enjoys working with children through to adult learners a very passionate musician who would love to share her joy of music with you.
