JessieJessie Olivia Stringer completed a two year musical theatre internship with the Harvest Rain Theatre Company (2012-2013) and is currently in her third year completing a Bachelor of Arts, with an extended-major in Drama at the University of Queensland. Jessie is also completing a Diploma in Musical Theatre with Five Stones Productions.

Jessie's teaching experience includes private vocal lessons in all genres as well as working with young performers, developing musical theatre skills in theatre workshops. Jessie specialises in marrying story telling with vocal technique to help students bring each characters song to life, musically & emotionally. She is extremely excited about teaching at the Australian Academy of Music and is keen to help individuals develop both their vocal musicality and their capacity for story telling

Since graduating school in 2011, she has performed in over 30 Musical Theatre productions with a variety of community, amateur, and pro-am companies at various venues, including QPAC. She is also a passionate music leader at her church and enjoys performing acoustic gigs. Jessie excels in versatility across different characters and vocal styles. Her diverse experiences include lead roles such as Fantine in 'Les Misérables' (2012), Nancy in 'Oliver!' (2015), Lucy in 'You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown' (2015), and Tracy Turnblad in 'Hairspray Jr.' (2015).
